Care instructions
Oak and sisal age differently. The oak wants an annual oil; the sisal is meant to be replaced, not nursed along.

Wipe the oak with a damp cloth
No solvents and no oil soaps. A barely damp cloth, then dry it off.

Re-oil once a year
Any food-safe hardwood oil. Thin coat, wipe the excess back after ten minutes.

Replace the sisal, don't trim it
Once a post is more rope-fluff than rope, pull the wrap and fit a new one. Trimming makes the fibres shed.

Check the base bolts every six months
Two turns with the supplied hex key is usually all it needs.

Felt pads are machine washable
Cold, gentle, mesh bag, line dry flat.
